Walking 7 minutes from Kamakura station, there is a fancy Italian cafe called "Cafe BITTER SWEET." You can eat Kamakura vegetables and special pizza for lunch.
Kamakura vegetables are famous in this area. The farmers grow not only Japanese but also western vegetables with less agricultural chemicals and fertilizer. Many Italian and French chefs buy Kamakura vegetables for their restaurants.
And this is "Shirasu & Sakura shrimp pizza," JPY1,250. Shirasu is young sardines in Japanese, and Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese, the shrimp was names after the color of pink. Both of them match with cheese, and the pizza dough is also delicious and fluffy.
